Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter, Will It Ever Happen?




When I was a kid, I was a Mortal Kombat fan and still am right now actually. You probably wonder how a "kid" can be a "Mortal Kombat" fan. Well, here in Indonesia, the Censorship Committee doesn't actually look over video games because they're too busy censoring what's on TV and movies (while leaving behind some mild porn in it and gives PG 13 rating), so even 5 years old kids can play Mortal Kombat freely.

When Sony and Microsoft enjoys their new year with the success of their respective next-gen consoles, Nintendo had to brace themselves for a bad news. Just on the first week of January 2014, Nintendo has hit its lowest point in the stock market in its long history. Well, we all know that Nintendo's stock hasn't been that great in the last 5 years, but this year, it's rock bottom.

Introducing DreadOut, an Indonesian horror game developed by local developer Digital Happiness. As an Indonesian, I'm somewhat proud of this game. Although the idea is not an original one, but this game has set a new level of game development in Indonesia's growing game industry.

PS4 Officially Launches In Indonesia


Today, the PlayStation 4 officially launches in Indonesia. You can say it's a historical moment since it's the first time ever (that I know of), any game consoles that made its way to Indonesia is being launched officially in this glorified country. So I must say it's a milestone.
