The word is out, Ubisoft has already announced it's yearly franchise to come out. Unlike what rumors has been told before, Ubisoft isn't taking us to Feudal Japan, but instead back to the hearts of Europe.
So, based on the trailer above, you can actually tell where Assassin's Creed newest title will take place. In the trailer, the game which is entitled "Assassin's Creed: Unity" shows you the infamous, blue, white, red (no it's not the American flag, it's the other way around), the tallest twin-towered building (at that time) and probably the most iconic punishing machine at that time, the guillotine. Still can't guess? Boy, you should pay attention to your history teacher while you were at school.
The Twin Towered Tall Prison Building known as "La Bastille"
Nope, it's not the American flag, neither it is the Dutch flag, it's "Le Bleu, Blanc, Rouge"
The French Revolution. That's where Ubisoft will take us next in Assassin's Creed: Unity. Well, somehow I knew that it would be impossible for Ubisoft to make Asian references so soon, since (most) gamers are quite the "Japanese culture experts" and would be so offended if Ubisoft "tilts" that part of history. Honestly, it was the right move that Ubisoft did. At least to me it makes more sense, that an assassin (or assassins) were involved during the French Revolution than a pirate "cross-dressing" as an assassin. No offense to Black Flag's fans.
Probably the most sadistic punishment in history, the gruesome and decapitating guillotine
My guesses are, Unity will still continue the Kenway family storyline somehow. Well, some believed that the British actually "orchestrated" the French Revolution in order to take down their most powerful rival in global domination. So why not put an assassin in for the task?
So, is this dude a Brit, a French or a little bit of both?
