Half-life 3 and Left 4 Dead 3 Finally Confirmed?

For Half-Life fans, this might be the news they're waiting for. After seven years, finally there's good news about one of the most praised franchise from Valve. Half-Life 3 is being worked on right now by Valve.

Probably not the most exciting or the most anticipated news really, but it's still good to know that Valve hasn't abandoned Half-Life. The news was confirmed by one-half of Half-Life's best-selling mod that probably has outshone the original game itself, Counter-Strike, Minh Le. Le said, " to be honest, but I think it's kind of public knowledge, that people know that it is being worked on".

Although Le did not confirm that what he saw was Half-Life 3 that he saw while visiting Valve, he "believes" that what he saw was "something that looked kinda like in the Half-Life universe". To "confirm" what he believes, Le also stated that " I did see some concept art for Half-Life 3". If you're interested, here are the artworks he's talking about.

Artworks of what is "believed" to be artworks of Alyx Vance, female protagonist of Half-Life 2

Aside from Half-Life, Minh Le also confirmed that Left 4 Dead 3 was also a work in progress from Valve. But this time, Le was sure that what he saw was Left 4 Dead 3. Le said, I saw it, it looks great. I was really excited when I saw that, I was like 'wow, this looks great'. Because I really enjoyed Left 4 Dead, it was just one of those games that really just changed the industry. I think at the time there wasn't many good co-op games, so yeah, this is a great co-op game".

You can hear Minh Le's complete interview in the video below, The Half-Life 3 and Left 4 Dead 3 part starts at around 33 minutes.
